You can click on the left hand menu and select the link "Create content". You will then see several options, you will want to click on "Family: Individual" and fill on the form. Once you are done you click on submit and you can review your post.

The same process applies for groups and locations. All content you create will be tied to your username and profile. If you continue to have difficulty you can post a question on the forums or send us your gedcom file, provided it is not too big.
