    A quick update. The email issue has been resolved completely. Email notifications in the forums also have been activated.

    Due to moving to a new payment system, current members need to use the (old) links in the header. New members can use the normal logout and my profile links.

    Due to the fact that many registered users mark emails from Rodoslovlje.com as SPAM, despite the fact that they can unsubscribe via a link, we decided to suspend all forum email notifications. This means that users should check the website themselves regularly because we do not want to have extra expenses on getting another mailserver. This would also mean that we would have to increase the membership fee.

    Please be adviced that if you use Outlook or Hotmail you will not be able to receive email notifications or any other email from Rodoslovlje.com

    We are working on getting this resolved but we can’t tell you when and if this will be solved soon.

    Dear members,

    We simplified the forums and moved all topics into one member forum. You can now use the Keywords feature to add keywords to you post such as region, surname, type of inquiry etc.

    We would like to inform you that the membership fee for new members has been set for 10.00 euros a year. With exception of the General Forum all other forums are now for members only. This also includes all Knowledgebased articles with the exception of the FAQ section.

    Please review the Press Release under the FAQ section for further info.

    **Please note that members that paid the old fee should open a ticket and their expiration date will be adjusted accordingly.

    We are almost done with the updates. As you may have noticed the site loads faster and the navigation has been improved.

    We have started work on a major updates. The website will start to use Bootstrap technology. This means that the forums and blogs will be enhanced and navigation will be improved. Also the layout will be further upgraded to fit Web 2.0 standards. You do not need to do anything, once we are done the new layout will show itself :-)

    With the summer holiday approaching our team has teamed up with another design group for our layout. This means that we will transform the site using the latest technologies which will improve the overall navigation and presentation of our website. The colours of our site will not change but you will see improved forums, navigation and other visual enhancements. One of them is already implemented, its called Gravatar. For more info go to http://www.gravatar.com 

    If you have an account there and register with the same email address at our site the same avatar will be displayed, this means a better way for you to manage communication with others. Stay tuned as we work on more changes.
