KeymasterOk, did some checking. Good news is that the Trbovic surname comes from Ogulin district and Drežnica (the spelling is important!) The Trbovic family is Serbian and if you write the monastery there they should be able to tell you more!

Welcome to the forums. I will go check out some things for you. Do you have the immigration records from Ellis Island? Kulik is a name that can be found in Vojvodina. Dobanovce is located in the Surčin part of Belgrade these days.
