My maternal grandparents emigrated from Eastern Europe to the United States in 1908-1910. My grandfather, Anton Servo (1878-1974) listed his country of origin as Hungary or Austria-Hungary on several documents. My maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Bremerhaus (1883-1946), mentions coming from Mollyfalva in the ship's manifest when she traveled here. My research suggests this is now the Molin Forest in Nova Crnja, Molin, Serbia.

My goal in writing is to get suggestion for finding out more about my grandparents, primarily where they were born and married. I'd also like to research their parents. So far I have not been able to find anything in Ancestry or similar web sites. If you have ideas on how to do this research, please let me know.

Here are the facts I have been able to find from records in the United States:
My grandfather: Anton Servo
Nationality: Hungarian, Austrian
Born 1 June, 1878, location unknown.
Entered United States in 1903.
Married some time before 1904.
Father, Conrad Servo, was born in France.
Mother, Magdelena Rugaber, was born in Hungary.

My grandmother: Elizabeth (Bremerhaus) Servo
Nationality: Hungarian
Born 24 May, 1883, location unknown.
Entered the United States in 1904. She arrived in New York on December 11th, 1904, traveling via Hamburg from Malifalva (sic), most likely actually Mollyfalva, Torontal, Hungary. The village is no longer there, but historical information I found indicates the records were moved to Toba.
Married some time before 1904.
Father, Max Bremerhaus
Mother, Margaret Klicer

If you can help me, I will be very grateful. If not, I appreciate your taking the time to read this and wish you well.

Best Regards, Larry Fischer
