Could this connection with Mihailovic and the frosty reception at the village have something in common?

After WWII the Socialists of Tito were in charge in what used to be Yugoslavia. The Partisans were (kinda) favoured by the new regime in those day’s and the other side Chetniks were prosecuted. I wont go in to it too much since its politics. But needless to say that if a village was the scene of fighting and struggle it would have been prohibited to enter there freely. That could be one of the reasons. But then again we Serbs can be weird from time to time and it was just nothing besides some Cops with a bad hair day
