SpectatorHallo Brigitte,
Ja das ist möglich. Möglicherweise bedeuten Sie Orahovac, Kosovo oder eine andere Ort?

SpectatorHello Vlastimil,
My first suggestion is to contact the Czech genealogical society –>see our link page. You will first need to find the ancestor that moved to the region where you lived and you need to find out where he was born. Then we can check out further. There are a lot of people that have the same surname and in order to make sure who your ancestors are you will need to make a small pedigree untill that ancestor.
Jak means the same in Serbian as in Czech

SpectatorAntonio,
I am afraid that I cannot find the matching arms at a fast rate without knowing for sure where they came from. I have consulted with associates but no body seems to recognise it.

SpectatorHi,
There are enough Palajac today in Croatia but also in Vojvodina. Most of them through migrated. I believe they are German of origin. The religion thing is always confusing. Some people here believe that if one is Orthodox he is Serb and if one if Catholic he is Croat. Of course this is silly, what you need to do is contact the district archives adn the Family History Library Center of the LDS church. All Catholic records have been microfilmed.

SpectatorHi,
I dont know if you live in Serbia but your best bet would be the opstina in V.G and the archives in Pozarevac. For your self write down a pedigree and you can either go there or write them.
According to law churches also need to put their books in the archives so its the central place to search for info.
