SpectatorOK let me get a list. I am myself very interested in anything that survived on ” Mali Ivoševci”.
At the moment our surname database is being updated. We will include archival information, references, DNA info even if present and a whole lot more.
If you ever stumble on the surnames: Ugrčić, Arambašić and Torbica let me know.

SpectatorThe My Rodoslov Premium system for members is online. Unlike the other free version for all, this version allow much more detail, and allows notes, file uploads, pictures etc.
Just select it from your menu. It is not yet integrated with the main system. This will happen once there are financial resources to do so. If you want an account please contact the webmaster through the contact form.

Time omogućujete nama da vam pomognemo.
7.Budite pristojni , uljudni I strpljivi.
Prepravite pitanje I ponudite više informacija.
2.Ukoliko dobijete željeni odgovor, pišite nam kako bi od vas dopunili znanje I možda pomogli nekom drugom.
Postanite član SRD-a. Članstvo je jeftino I traje tokom cele godine.Pomoćićemo vam oko:
* Malih prevoda,
* Pomoć putem telefona,
* upload fijlovi na forumu ,
* i.t.d.Postanite član!

SpectatorYes we actually don’t advice people hire researchers but since there was a demand for it we put some info on it. I agree, money is a big issue. We are working hard on getting additional resources online but we lack manpower and financial resources for that at the moment.
The membership fee however will stay put at 25 bucks, and if you read the newsletter send out recently people can get lifetime membership.
BTW, the My Rodoslov Premium for members is active. If you want to I can create an account and you can upload your current research and you can authorise Stasa for so he can put it on there straight away. Just a thought.

The Coat of Arms is the last item you should worry about.

SpectatorJohn,
If he charges like what 400 dollars in my opinion thats a lot. How much does he work per week? He has been busy for some time now…..
In the next board meeting I will address this, I want to see if we can create a system that allows members to do research without researchers.

SpectatorHi,
Well not only WWII did a lot of damage. THat what survived was destroyed during the last Balkan Wars, so people that originate from Dalmatia have a hard time finding their ancestors. In that region they were referred to as “Uskok’s”
The surname originates from MOntenegro from the Podgorica area, but it can also be found in Serbia. SO there are different branches not related to each other with the same surname.
Do you have a pedigree? Are you aware of relatives still living in Serbia? Presuming you dont live in Serbia?
Sergej
SpectatorHow is that research going? Did you get any results at all?

Make sure you use the correct Latin spelling.
You can also inquire with the archives in Zemun.Sergej
SpectatorFamily saint could be Nikola yes, its a common saint. THe name is Serbian and originates from the town I mentioned. Its not Albanian or Croatian in the sense that it originated from there.
Most likely no coat of arms, but you would have to check Siebmacher for that to make sure. Which archives did you check?Sergej
SpectatorPočuča is from Vrlika, Dalmatia.
Information could be found there in the archives.Sergej
SpectatorOk these are some tools that you can use to try locating them.
These are the two best I can give you know. Because of the age of the people they are still in city hall and not in the archives. So you would have to locate either the living by the phonebook or recently deceased that fit within the time limit.
Use this spelling: Černgul
