SpectatorOk thats good to know because then you would need to write the archives.
You can try contacting the archives in Bosnia at: http://www.arhivrs.org/
Please be aware that a lot of documents were destroyed during the last Balkan wars. We can’t give any garantuee’s on if you will find anything. This may be also interesting to read, depending on what you need. http://www.rodoslovlje.com/voyager/novo/showarticle.php?articleID=26

SpectatorGo to: http://www.rodoslovlje.com/voyager/rodoslov/login_register.php?action=register and register there with the exact same data as you used to sign up for the SGS member account. Mainly because we plan to merge the different accounts in the future!
Follow the instructions you get in the email. You will receive an email when the administrator aproves your account, this will happen as soon as possible depending on the timezones.
Thats it, you can use the Moj Rodoslov

SpectatorPaul,
How did you write these archives? What did they tell you?

SpectatorDear Ognjen,
There are no direct descendents alive of any of the medieval nobility.
You will need to collect data from your direct line to see if these “legends” are just legends or not.Let me know if you want to communicate in English or Serbian.
Pozdrav
Sergej
SpectatorHi,
The name is Serbian, originates from Montenegro. What happened is that different branches moved out some of them into Croatia. The problem with Serbs and Croats is the religion issue. Most Serbs will say someone is a Serb when he is Orthodox and when he is Catholic they will refer to someone as a Croat. The same vice versa with Croatians.
The surname is of Serbian origin. The Montenegrin archives are full of them.
Even today objectivity is still an issue with genealogy.Pozdrav,
Sergej
SpectatorSounds good, she tried calling you but you werent at home I think.
