SpectatorHi,
Just me for 5 mins. In Serbia the costs are peanuts for you guys

As for Croatia, dont know yet. We will expand there this year. Before you all attack me with questions, as of Tuesday I will be back. That is, I am still here but working on some other research issues that need my attention.

SpectatorHello Nick,
Sorry for the late reply. I read over your post because I am swarmed with documents, and am still trying to locate my desk :-s
There are different versions on the meaning of the name. Most common one indicates that the “vic” part means son of. You can most likely find out for sure if you reach the year 1700, because then most surnames we use nowadays were created then by being named after an ancestor.
We will lift the site restrictions soon for the general content, so you can read more information on how to do research etc. If you have other questions feel free to ask.

SpectatorAs some of you saw I was kinda of absent last week. I will be this week as well. Sometimes I will check my email, but I am swamped in some offline tasks that involve some research projects that need my attention.
From now on, check the calendar for updates and events.

SpectatorBefore I forget to you all. A coat of Arms is not connected to a last name!!! Keep this is mind. If you have any more questions ask Sasa or me.

SpectatorChat is uploaded and you can now select the chat module on the frontpage. This is for small talk and when you need to discuss things etc. It will also keep the forums a bit cleaner Enjoy!
Also uploaded is a calendar on which members can post events etc, but on which you can also see site updates.

SpectatorSheila,
From what I can see the name is being used in the Serbian area’s of Dalmatia and respectivly Montenegro and Zahumlije ( Herzegovina ) as well.
It’s hard to pinpoint the exact origin of the name due to migrations and different branches. That is all I can say about it for now.Take care,
Sergej
SpectatorYes the site has changed. This is the final theme update we made. As you can see it is fine and short cut. It is functional and needs some small changes, which we will gradually make.
However, we are working on creating a logo c.q. crest, emblem for both the society and the foundation. Your idea’s are welcome. Please check out the front member page where I will post what we have untill now. I am drawing myself still, the picture one can see now are from Sasa Jankovic

Your opinions and idea’s are welcome.
Also, the member frontpage will become the standard frontpage again after we finish the final security updates. Please comment on this as members what you think.
Thanks in advance
